VASFAA Honors Senator Jeffords

At our 2006 Summer Conference, VASFAA honored Senator Jeffords, who is retiring this year, and his work in support of students and higher education during his tenure in Congress. He was unable to attend but Heidi Scheuermann, his Legislative Liaison in his Montpelier office, was there to represent him. At our April meeting, VASFAA voted to make a $500 contribution to the two scholarships Senator Jeffords established in memory of his mother and sister. This contribution was matched by VSAC.
