VSAC's Fall Financial Aid Training: Financial Aid 101

This virtual training session is geared toward education and agency professionals who are newer to discussing the financial aid process with potential learners, would like to hear about Vermont's ongoing funding options, or want a refresher on available programs, timelines, and best ways to advise students and families on financial aid for education or training after high school.

As more one-time post-secondary funding opportunities become ongoing options for Vermonters, we have moved some applicable previous years' content from the "Updates" presentation into Financial Aid 101. Topics we'll cover: Eligibility, FAFSA, Vermont Grants, Loans (including forgivable loans), and VSAC Scholarships. Additionally, we’ll touch on Early College, Dual Enrollment, free tuition programs, and more!
